My summer decorating continues and NO this project does not include a watermelon or my porch. This is a sort of table runner for my coffee table. I had 4 bamboo placemats that I got at the Dollar store last summer. I love the colors and used them for a garden party. But they haven’t been used since. That is a shame. Look at these beauties!
Bright, cheerful and fun!!!
I dedcided they would make a cute table runner of sorts. So, I laid them out in and played with it. Then, I stenciled on the words “summer fun” using freezer paper stencils and my Cricut.
They neeeded something else so I painted a pennant banner across the top and used orange yarn to connect the pennants.
This was a great way to use those placemats and to add to my summer decor. I had everything on hand so this project cost me $0. This is the La-Dee-Da way!!! Thrifty, fun and crafty.
